Florida has a robust history of offering students the opportunity to accelerate learning through Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Advanced International Certificate of Education, dual enrollment, industry certification and digital learning. This policy gives students and their parents another option to accelerate their learning and graduate early.
RELEASE: West Virginia Improves Innovation in Schools
Implementation of the Innovation Zones Act includes providing schools with support and flexibility to waive policies and codes that restrict student learning. Since January 2015, over 80 grants have been awarded to schools. Innovation Zones are already demonstrating results.
