WASHINGTON – Digital Learning Now! today unveiled a redesigned website with enhanced usability and streamlined navigation. DigitalLearningNow.com is a one-stop-shop for lawmakers and policymakers to access policies, strategies and research for K-12 digital education in the 21st century. The new site prominently features the 10 Elements of High Quality Digital Learning and the Nation’s 2011 Digital Learning Report Card.
“We are excited to launch this new and improved website,” said John Bailey, executive director of Digital Learning Now! “It is our hope that the site continues to serve as a clearinghouse of information for reform-minded educators and leaders who are focused on transforming education for the 21st century through digital learning.”
The new site includes recent news and blog posts, a live Twitter feed and an action center that consists of the DLN Smart Series interactive papers, an advocacy toolkit and the Roadmap for Reform. Website visitors will learn about education in the digital age, how each state measures up to the 10 Elements of High Quality Digital Learning, and what state lawmakers and policymakers can do to advance digital learning for today’s students.
“The information provided on this website represents a compilation of best practices in digital learning geared at helping all students succeed in an increasingly competitive and global economy,” added Bailey.
Check out the updated website and stay tuned for the Nation’s 2012 Digital Learning Report Card, which will be released in the new year.

Digital Learning Now! is a national campaign under the Foundation for Excellence in Education with the goal of advancing state policies that will create a high-quality digital learning environment to better equip all students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in this 21st-century economy. The policy framework stems from the belief that access to high-quality, customized learning experiences should be available to all students, unbounded by geography or artificial policy constraints.
