Sponsored by the Senate Education Committee, passed the House on February 22 and is pending delivery to Republican Gov. Butch Otter. It would change the existing mastery advancement pilot program to a program offered to any school district or public charter school in the state that submits a competed application. The program permits students to successfully proceed through school curriculum at their own pace.
